Robert White is the President and Sales Manager of BIT Corp. He has been in the automation and control business since 1972. He graduated from New York Institute of Technology in 1974 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He formed a Control System Manufacturing company – Innovative Technology Corp. - in 1975, which served various industries including the wholesale Food and Baking manufacturing industry. Because of the unpredictable business cycles of the various industries it was serving, he closed ITC in 1993 and formed a new company Bakery Innovative Technology Corp. It’s primary focus - the wholesale Food and Baking manufacturing industry. It was this focus that gave the company steady growth since it’s inception. Robert is very active in the American Baking Society having served as an Executive Committee member and Advisory Committee member for 6 years, the 2001 Assistant Program Chairman, the 2002 Program Chairman, and the 2003 Vice Chairman. He created the ASB Technical Solution Center (a special interactive and educational technical help forum given at the society's yearly Technical Conference) and chaired it for its first 3 years. He has presented 4 technical papers to the society.
